More Great news for Veterans at the Go Green Warehouse!
Benjamin Moya Jr., a Permanent Change of Station (PCS) employee at the Go Green Warehouse has secured full time employment with Ecoprojex. The mission of Ecoprojex is to provide local businesses and governmental agencies with economic solutions with environmental benefits for their waste and recycling programs. We really want to applaud Ben for his hard work and service here at Veterans Green Jobs (VGJ) and the Go Green Warehouse (GGW).
He has proved to be invaluable to us and our customers who request him by name. We are sadly sorry to see him go but our director Veronica Collin says, “We’ll win him back”. Ben tells us that his time here has helped him regain his self-esteem by building upon his customer service skills and establishing networks. And that’s what he says he will miss the most, his customers. He also says it has been an honor to work with service members who are giving back to the community and to serve those who have served us, as is part of the mission of VGJ. “It was fun too”, he says. The place has purpose. I will miss this place until I come back to work as a volunteer”.
Ben, we hate to let you go but, we have done our job here at VGJ when we put Veterans back to work in the “Green” industry. A-hoorah to Ben, VGJ, and GGW for your service.
